There is no better way to create a beautiful world other than creating rightful childhood for children with them and for them... -Rashi
Hello, I am Rashi.
I am an international development and child rights professional with over ten years of experience working across India, the UK, and global coalitions. My journey in social work began a decade ago, and every step since has reaffirmed my belief in the transformative power of service. The development sector has allowed me to witness countless moments of change — small and big — that continue to inspire my purpose.
I have worked across policy, advocacy, research and analysis, campaigns, knowledge management, communications, and programme management, with a strong focus on advancing children’s rights. My specialisation lies in the intersection of child participation and child protection, and I am deeply committed to ensuring that children’s voices are at the centre of decision-making processes.
My research interests are shaped by my interdisciplinary academic training and my grounded experience across grassroots and international contexts.
Some of my broad research and thematic areas include:
Child-led advocacy
Child participation
Child protection
Right to Education
Gender equity
Humanitarian Action
Impact of Climate Change
Youth Employment & Skill Development
Labour Rights
I also curate Child Rights Global, a monthly global newsletter that captures key global developments, emerging issues, policies, and stories around children’s rights. It is designed for NGO professionals, practitioners, researchers, students and changemakers committed to strengthening human rights worldwide.
I enjoy connecting with people, learning from their journeys, and building meaningful professional relationships.
Please feel free to reach out — I would love to interact.
